Garrett Hill
Co-Owner
Howdy, I’m Garrett!
I live in Georgetown, TX, with my wife, Shayli, and our three boys—Rhett, Cavender, and Finn. Our family embraces the homestead lifestyle, complete with more chickens than we can count and a few turkeys for good measure.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me chatting about specialty coffee, casting a line in the river, or enjoying a campfire night with friends. Growing up in East Texas, I spent my days carving trails through the piney woods, which fueled my lifelong love for the outdoors. Now, I’m passionate about creating spaces that inspire people to step outside, connect with nature, and live life beyond walls.

Hi, I’m Kari!
Before stepping into my role as Office Manager, I spent years performing as a professional musical theater actress—including playing Disney princesses at Disneyland. One of my favorite roles was Anna from Frozen, which is why my dog, Sven, proudly shares his name with her beloved reindeer!
Now, I call Georgetown, TX home, where I live with my husband, our pup, and our sweet baby boy, Theodore. While I keep things running smoothly behind the scenes at Texas Backyards, I still find time for my love of performing—whether it’s voiceover work, on-camera acting, or bringing a little magic to children’s events with my princess party performances.
When I’m not working or performing, I love spending time with family and friends and embracing my new role as a mom!
